Deutsche Telekom said that it upgraded the internet speed to 100 Mbps for 345,000 households in September. In total 33.2 million households can now surf the web at up to 100 Mbps or more on Telekom's network, and 24.5 million households can surf at up to 250 Mbps or more.
The number of households connected with pure-fiber optic lines rose by 46,000 in September to 1.9 million, with speeds of up to 1 Gbps available. Since the beginning of the year, 3.4 million households have benefited from Deutsche Telekom's network expansion.
