The Russian DTH platform operator NTV-Plus has introduced an OTT set-top box based on the Android operating system.
According to the company, it gives access to over 200 TV channels, films and series from the VOD libraries Amediateka Home of HBO, Megogo and Start, as well as special offers at bargain prices.
The box is available at the NTV-Plus office in Moscow, in the online stories and at regional partners.
It costs R2,499 (€29.3) and current subscribers with an online subscription just need to purchase one and continue to watch online content from NTV-Plus on TV.
New subscribers, on the other hand, are given free access to all content for seven days, after which they have to pay R199 a month.
