SPI/FilmBox and Bulgarian telecom operator Net1 have struck a channel distribution deal.
Under it, Net1 will be able to offer its subscribers a total of 10 channels from SPI’s portfolio, including FilmBox, FilmBox Extra, FilmBox Plus and FilmBox Arthouse.
Commenting on the development, Murat Muratoglu, head of distribution at SPI International, said: “We are very excited to announce the start of our partnership with Net1.
“Our 10 versatile channels will provide Net1 subscribers with a vast amount of content to choose from depending on their interests”.
Peter Rizov, Net1 executive, added: “Our partnership with SPI added quality content tailored to the needs of different users.
“These 10 first-class channels complemented the diversity of our TV list. The launch came at the very appropriate time, when our customers, spending more time at home, because of the pandemic, received a choice of more than 200 channels with a variety of topics. To enable all our existing and new subscribers to enjoy this experience, they received from us the entire package of 10 channels as a gift for a promotional period of time. I hope that our cooperation with SPI will continue in the direction of content enrichment, so that we can satisfy all tastes”.
