Russian LTE MVNO Yota, a subsidiary of mobile operator Megafon, has started providing internet services in the LTE-800 band in several regions, reports Tdaily.ru. Coverage of the LTE-800 network has been expanded by 150 percent since the beginning of the year. The services are available in the cities and regions of Moscow and St Petersburg, as well as in the Chelyabinsk, Yekaterinburg, Irkutsk, Novosibirsk and Krasnoyarsk regions.
Yota said that over half of the devices connected to its network support LTE-800.
The MVNO developed its LTE-800 services using its own network, as well as the network of Megafon.
