Bahrain-based telecommunications company Etisalcom has signed an agreement with Atyaf Home Entertainment, a licensed partner for pay-TV service providers and vendors, to launch its premium entertainment services in Bahrain.
According to the deal, Etisalcom will offer a range of premium services to the people that are at home as a precautionary measure to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
Atyaf Home Entertainment is the licensed partner for leading pay-TV service providers and Vendors in Bahrain including beIN Media Group, OSN, Humax, MyHD and Triax.
Commenting on the deal, Chief Executive Officer of Etisalcom Rashid Al Sinan, said: “As countries around the world implement measures to safeguard their people and communities from being impacted by the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, and as Bahrain takes herculean efforts to protect its citizens from this disease, we at Etisalcom and Atyaf Home Entertainment want to do our part.”
Atyaf Home Entertainment’s Head of Business Development Department Mahmood Nasr added: “The company is focussing on the services it provides to the Bahraini market on what is known in the virtual space as digital content, which is a complex industry, but it has recently occupied a distinguished position in the Internet industry and has with increasing interest in the various technological, cultural, scientific, educational and economic circles.”
