German service provider QSC announced that it has supported the migration of the IT operation of Intosite, the technical service provider of the publishing company Ganske Verlagsgruppe, to its private cloud platform. Following the migration, Intosite can upgrade its computing power and storage space, and manage its networks on a self-service basis.
Intoside decided to migrate the operations to QSC's Infrastructure-as-a-Service because its new campus in Hamburg does not offer space for traditional data centers. Moreover, the costs of physically protecting infrastructure, upholding failsafe operations and maintaining high standards for cyber defenses were deemed high.
