Financial technology company Cellulant has announced the launch of Tingg, an multi-functional consumer application offering a range of payment, commerce and financial services one one platform. Cellulant says Tingg is its solution to the fragmentation in the African digital payment sector, particularly cross-border payments.
Tingg seeks to eliminate boundaries between channels and geographies, it said. The app offers an integrated, efficient user service adapted to local contexts. Tingg is available as a mobile app, a USSD shortcode service and a web-based application. Customers can access services in different sectors, namely agriculture and retail (farm to fork), transport and logistics, and e-Commerce.
