The Russian DTH operator Orion has established a new subsidiary named Orion Play.
Based at the Skolkovo innovation centre and headed by Konstantin Saltykov, the technical director of the Orion group of companies, it will be responsible for creating a cloud-based content management platform.
The platform will be able to deliver the content of any interested producer to any consumer worldwide and will allow the formation of atypical solutions for the needs of each specific customer.
Implementing the project will allow TV companies, operators and any content producer to receive more competitive products by reducing the time for preparing materials and integrating new functions on the TV channel, the cost of high-quality conversion and delivery of content to viewers on any media network.
