T-Mobile becomes first Polish operator to integrate Amazon Prime Video

T-Mobile has become the first operator in Poland to offer customers Amazon Prime Video.

As of the beginning of this month existing or new subscribers to Magenta 1or those of other mobile services can receive Amazon Prime Video for PL13 (€2.97) a month and pay for it on a single T-Mobile bill.

They will be able to take advantage of a seven-day promotional period and after activating the service gain access to Prime Video via the T-Mobile receiver.

Commenting on the development, Frederic Perron, a board member for the private market at T-Mobile Polska, said: “We are consistently developing our converged offer with carefully selected products of the highest quality. The decision to include Amazon Prime Video in our offer was a natural consequence of this approach. We are very pleased that T-Mobile is the first operator in Poland to provide customers with access to the full excellent productions of the Amazon Prime Video library”.

T-Mobile Polska also say it plans to create a wide range of packages combining Amazon Prime Video with other telecommunications and entertainment services. The new offer is part of the company’s long-term strategy, under which T-Mobile will offer clients an ever-wider range of services, with a particular focus on developing home products.

Furthermore, it has introduced a new interface for its Android TV and 4K HDR receiver that provides more intuitive access to TV and video services. Aside from Prime Video, these include Netflix, YouTube, Ipla and Ipla Eleven Sports.
