Nepal Telecom (NTC) has launched FTTH fiber internet service at far western Mahendrangar of Kanchanpur. The FTTH (Fiber to the home) can provide high-speed internet and high-quality telephone. Find more information on the FTTH launch, capacity, and availability below.
The FTTH service is launched at a program on Bhadra 16, 2076 in Mahendranagar. Ntc inaugurates the FTTH service with a call from regional director Mr. Namakar Neupane to MD Mr. Dilli Ram Adhikari.
In the call, Mr. Neupane briefed the capacity and the future plan along with the distribution of the FTTH service to Ntc MD. Mr. Adhikari also expressed his delight on the initiation of the new service.
They also distributed the CPE (customer premises equipment)/modem to the new customers.
The current capacity of two FDC (Fiber Distribution Cabinet) installed at Mahendranagar is 1024 FTTH lines. With which, 768 FTTH lines can be distributed instantly. The service is available along the Mahendranagar Market Street from number 1 to number 4. They also have a plan to set up 7 more FDC in the urban areas, to increase the capacity as per the demand of people.
