MTS Belarus expands LTE network

Mobile operator MTS Belarus is continuing to expand its LTE network and started 191 base stations running on the 2,600 MHz frequency in June. It upgraded its 4G network in 30 settlements and began LTE provision in eighteen towns and villages including Vileyka, Dzerzhinsk, Zaslavsl, Slutsk, Orsha and Smorgon. It now has base stations using the 2,600 MHz frequency in 52 settlements nationwide.

MTS Belarus provides LTE services in cooperation with state-owned infrastructure operator beCloud. It offers microSD memory cards at the discounted price of BYN 0.10 with Samsung device purchases in its shops. This promotion is valid when buying the Samsung A30, A50, A70 or A80 smartphone.
