E-commerce boosts Pakistan Post's revenue

The Federal Minister for Communications and Postal Services Murad Saeed said that through E-commerce, the postal service has transported up to 46,000 parcels to their destinations. Soon new amendments had been taken in the Logistic Cell sector to flourish ahead.

Pakistan Post has initiated various services including Electronic Money Order (EMO), e-commerceand same-day delivery services which have received excellent feedback from the community.

To make sure further easiness for the community, Pakistan Post made the EMO service available at all General Post Offices as a window service, through which consumer could send up to Rs 50,000.

Beforehand, the Pakistan Post launched a mobile application, which permitted customers to roadway and trace their sent items on mobile phones.

The mobile application also has the complaint registration option in it, which helps the powers to enhance user experience and perk up Pakistan Post’s performance.
