Telefonica Germany has started to use its 2,100 MHz frequency range for its LTE network in southern Germany.
In particular, the frequency range is used in Stuttgart, Munich, Karlsruhe and surrounding areas to increase mobile internet capacity, Tariftipp.de reports. Other areas of use reported by Telefonica customers are between Pforzheim and Goppingen, Bietigheim to Herrenberg, Nuremberg and Aachen.
