Spanish alternative operator Grupo MASMOVIL has announced that it passed the one million fixed broadband subscriber milestone at the end of 2018, after notching up net additions of almost 500,000 in the preceding twelve months.
The telco only launched its fixed broadband service in April 2016, ending that year with around 122,000 customers (504,000 at end-2017). 67% of the total user base are signed up to fibre-optic broadband packages, MASMOVIL notes.
