The Polish mobile operator P4, which trades under the brand name Play, has published an update on its 4G network coverage. The firm says it now covers 2,214 towns of more than 1,000 inhabitants with LTE services, including 391 cities of over 10,000 residents. Its faster LTE-A networks, meanwhile, are available to customers in 1,692 markets of over 1,000 residents, including 381 cities with a population above 10,000. The firm says it added 28 new towns to its network footprint in December 2018.
Play is the second largest cellco in Poland by subscribers, according to TeleGeography’s GlobalComms Database, with 12.7 million customers and 27% of the overall wireless market at the end of September 2018.
