A1 Telekom Austria is expanding its fiber-optic broadband network to an additional 41 municipalities in Upper Austria.
So far, work has been finalised in Dietach, Edlbach, Rohr im Kremstal, Rossleithen and St. Florian. Upon completion, around 30,000 households and businesses will gain access to the firm’s fibre-optic network, which will be extended to more than 6,600km in the state. According to A1, the firm invests a total of EUR40 million (USD47 million) in Upper Austria each year.
