Uzbekistan mobile operator Ucell is moving forward with the expansion of LTE and 3G networks across the country. The operator launched 19 3G base stations and 4 LTE base stations in 16-29 July.
New 3G base stations were built in the Andizhan, Jizak, Kashkadarya, Namangan, Samarkand, Syrdarya, Surkhandarya, Fergana and Khorezm regions, as well as in the city and region of Tashkent. New LTE base stations were deployed in the city of Tashkent.
