Tecnotree's billing system was picked by Nepal Telecom to handle its mobile international roaming. Tecnotree will supply the Tecnotree Wholesale Billing as a turnkey project and the Nepalese company is expected to start using it in 2019. The new roaming billing function in Tecnotree Wholesale Billing will help Nepal Telecom accelerate the launch of new roaming services and products to the market.
The system allows for flexible roaming agreements with international operator partners and offers better opportunities for controlling and maintaining the roaming partner agreements, while also preventing any misuse of roaming billing, Tecnotree said in a press release. The new billing system delivered by Tecnotree will replace Nepal Telecom’s existing system and it will be delivered to Nepal as a turnkey project.
