Itel announced the launch of its first three smartphones on Android Go in Africa, the Itel P32, A32F and A15. Android Go offers a smooth and fast experience tailored to devices with 1GB of Ram; new Google apps for entry-level smartphones including Google Go, YouTube Go, and the Google Assistant for Android Go; and enhanced data efficiency.
The Itel P32 comes with a 5.5-inch IPS 18:9 full screen display and dual rear camera, plus a main camera of 5MP with dual flash. The device is packed with 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM and powered by the MT6580M quad-core 1.3GHz processor. It houses a 4000mAh battery as well as a fingerprint sensor for easy access to the phone.
The Itel A32F comes with a 5.0-inch display and 5MP rear camera and 2MP selfie camera. It runs a 1.3GHz quad-core MT6580M processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB ROM (expandable to 32GB of storage) and 2050mAh battery. This device offers a multi-functional fingerprint sensor as well.
The Itel A15 also comes with a 5.0-inch display screen and the same cameras, plus the 1.3GHz quad-core MT6580M processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB ROM (expandable to 32GB of storage) and 2050mAh battery. The device will be available in three colours -- midnight black, starry blue and rose gold.
The devices will be rolling out in June throughout Africa.
