Dutch DTH platform Joyne goes to Belgium

The Dutch DTH platform is rolling out its service in Belgium, starting with the three public broadcasters from the VRT, Een (One), Canvas and Ketnet.

Joyne was launched in July 2017, and is using the Eutelsat 9B satellite to reach viewers in the Netherlands and across Europe, and is now adding Belgian customers with a specific offer.

The Belgian offer is starting now and is available free-of-charge until the official launch date of August 1, when its Joyne Travel BE bouquet will be available.

In addition to the three public channels, Joyne will offer VTM, Ksoom, Vitaya, Q2, CAZ, Cadet, Vier, Vijf, Zes, Ment, TV Oranje, Schlager TV, Nashville TV, 192TV and Dusk TV.

Joyne is using Conax encryption and CI module are available for €99. Subscription start at €10 a month when signing a 12-month contract. A one-time registration fee of €30.00 is payable.

The new service will be competing with the DTH platform TV Vlaanderen, which is operated by the M7 Group.
