iflix has set up a new regional centre in Cairo while also partnering with Vodafone in Egypt to offer the telco’s subscribers access to the streaming service for $0.06 a day.
iflix is looking to tap into Egypt’s large reservoir of content by establishing a hub in Cairo. With this new regional headquarters bringing together regional marketing, content and business development teams, iflix is looking to expand its business in Egypt, Morocco and Saudi Arabia.
Speaking about the partnership, John Saad, CEO of iflix MENA said: Today is an important milestone for iflix and our business in MENA.
