Orange Egypt has introduced new data plans called Dragon with dedicated MB for popular apps and music streaming services. The plans include 3,000 'dragonbytes' and 50 minutes for EGP 35 per month or 7,000 dragonbytes and 150 minutes for EGP 70.
The so-called 'dragonbytes' are worth 1 MB on the apps Twitter, Snapchat, Ghannily, Soundcloud, Apple Music, TuneIn, Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp. Data usage for other sites or apps costs 2 dragonbytes for 1 MB. Minutes are charged five minutes from the bundle for one minute of off-net calls.
If customers renew the bundle before expiry, any unused minutes or data are carried over to the next period. Outside the bundle, calls cost EGP 0.14 per minute, and data is EGP 1.00 per 50 MB.
