The awards rewarded some of the best efforts made by the industry over the past twelve months, across various areas like technology, strategy, and services.
The awards were presented to operators, regulators and other technology and service providers in recognition of their achievements in ensuring that the Middle East and Africa region stays at the frontier of digital innovation.

Sixteen awards were presented at the gala, with around 200 ICT leaders and professionals in attendance. The 12th CommsMEA Awards attracted a strong field of nominations, reflecting the various ways communications technology is taking fast strides towards a complete revolution.

The annual CommsMEA Awards acknowledge operators and other technology providers who have taken a leadership role in the region’s fast growing and rapidly changing telecoms sector.
Most of all, the awards aim to recognise those organisations that have helped turn the communications sector in the Middle East and Africa into one of the most dynamic and vibrant in the world.
