Lithuanian fixed and mobile operator Telia Lietuva has announced the commercial launch of VoLTE technology, providing customers with faster call connectivity and improved voice quality.
The Swedish-owned operator is currently offering 15 smartphone models that support VoLTE, including handsets from Samsung, Huawei and Sony. The service is available at no additional cost and is automatically activated for all new Telia Lietuva mobile subscribers, while existing customers will be able to access VoLTE from 2 November.
