Speaking at a demonstration of the new platform Flow Country Manager Colin McDonald said: “we are really excited to launch our IPTV service and finally give our customers what they’ve always wanted – a television service. IPTV brings real innovation and an enhanced viewing experience to our customers here in BVI, and as we continue to invest in the telecommunications infrastructure of these islands, the introduction of this services now gives us the ability to introduce more new and exciting products to the market, like digital TV.”

The advanced pay-TV service, which includes features as catch-up, rewind and video-on-demand (VOD), and includes 160 linear channels, will be only available for Flow’s Superfast package subscribers.

“Everything you record is stored on the cloud. Because it’s stored on the cloud, it means that, say for example there is a problem with the flat box after a power outage or a lightning storm, all of your content is still there and available. You can watch it with your mobile phone; you can watch it with your laptop; your iPad,” McDonald added.
