Motorola Solutions will provide mobile apps, software and services for the FirstNet network as part of its role on the AT&T team selected by the US government to deliver America's first nationwide wireless broadband public safety network. AT&T was awarded at the end of March the 25-year contract to provide a nationwide mobile broadband network for first responders in the US. The FirstNet system will cover all 50 states, 5 US territories and the District of Columbia.
