Fibre optics infrastructure company Niederosterreichische Glasfaserinfrastrukturgesellschaft (noGIG), based in Hoheneich and Waldenstein in the Waldviertel region in Lower Austria and part of ecoplus, an economic agency of Lower Austria, held a groundbreaking ceremony marking the start of construction for an open, public and future-proof fibre-optics infrastructure.
