Ooredoo Qatar has announced that customers who purchase selected smartphones will now receive free screen insurance for their devices. This applies with certain iPhone and Samsung devices. The insurance is valid for twelve months or until the expiry date of the cover.
The insurance will cover two screen replacements without affecting the device warranty. Customers will only need to pay a QAR 50 service fee for the replacement. Considering the cost of screen replacements, this service can make a huge difference, it said. To claim, customers should visit their nearest Qatar Mobile Repair Centre, listed on the insurance certificate, to replace their screen or call Ooredoo Call Centre on 111 for support.
