Vodafone Turkey claims it's the first operator in the country to carry out an international conference with VoLTE technology over the 4.5G pilot indigenously developed base station which is part of the ULAK project. Carried out by the Netas, Aselsan and Argela consortium, the ULAK project received 250 base stations orders from Turkcell, Vodafone and Turk Telekom in a deal signed at MWC in Barcelona on 27 February, according to local paper Hurriyet Daily.
