Microsoft has developed a five-step approach for cities in a new white paper aimed at securing connected infrastructure from cyber attacks, as more cities begin to roll out Internet of Things devices across municipal infrastructure.
“As cities plan for resilience, they become keenly aware of how much resilience depends on the smooth functioning of information and communications technology (ICT) in an adaptable technology infrastructure,” the white paper issued on April 12 says.
