Ghana regulator orders operators to improve QoS

Ghana's National Communications Authority has ordered mobile operators to improve the quality of their services. NCA director-general Joe Anokye met the Chief Technical Officers of the operators MTN, Tigo, Vodafone, Airtel, Glo and Expresso to discuss the "poor" QoS experienced by consumers, the NCA said in a statement. Problems include call drops, poor quality of voice and slow internet services, among others. Anokye said the operators should focus first on improving services in the Accra-Tema Metropolitan area and then the rest of the country.
