Vodafone Qatardisplays ready-to-deliver solutions

Vodafone Qatar showcased its innovative ‘ready-to-deliver’ solutions and products on the sidelines of its Innovation Day, on Tuesday.
The specially-invited guests were able to take a look at Vodafone’s model smart stadium, fleet management solutions, mobile asset tracking, connected cabinets, smart street lighting and public safety solutions.
The Mobile Asset Tracking Solution will help customers know where their assets go with complete visibility and control. Customers can track their mobile assets like delivery trucks or plant machinery or shipping containers. By monitoring their status in the field, customer can ensure that they are put to the best possible use. And Vodafone’s Connected Cabinets solution will help customers optimise the performance of their remote retail cabinets such as drinks fridges and freezers, transforming them into intelligent, connected assets that can report on their location, operating conditions and stock levels in real time.
Vodafone’s Fleet Management solution is a telematics service designed to track and perform logistics management for companies aiming to enhance productivity and tackle road safety issues.
The smart stadium, via virtual reality and a smart stadium interactive model, offers a glimpse into the fan experience of the future. At every game fans will have access to Wi-Fi, 2G, 3G, and 4.5G ready broadband network connections, rich-content displays on the 700 HD screens, and Vodafone Arena mobile application, as well as videowalls that broadcast all the content that fans dream of – including interviews, match statistics and live updates on other games. Moreover, spectators and visitors on match days are offered an end-to end digital experience and premium comfort during match days through location-based services based on Beacon technology.
Vodafone Qatar’s Innovation Day was marked by a prestigious corporate event at the St Regis Hotel that was attended by more than 150 representatives from various industries.
Vodafone demonstrated how the Company is continually looking for ways to bring its global expertise and the power of its international network to Qatar, helping a range of organisations in the country to take advantage of the Internet of Things (IoT) opportunity and in turn help realise Qatar National Vision 2030.
