Airtel Lanka partners with mCash for bill payments

Bharti Airtel Lanka, partnered with ‘mCash’ SLT Mobitel's mobile money platform, to further extend its distribution network enabling Airtel users to settle their Post-Paid mobile bills and purchase top-ups in a cost-efficient and hassle-free manner through the mCash mobile money network.

The launch of this new service will offer all Airtel Lanka customers the opportunity to make Pre-Paid top-ups and pay their respective Post-Paid voice and data bills via the Cashnetwork which now extends to more than 12,000 + outlets across Sri Lanka. As a result Airtel Lanka's distribution network will now increase to over 60,000 outlets facilitating customer accessibility to Airtel services across the Island.

Airtel customers using the mCash facility could settle their Post-Paid bill payments and buy Pre-Paid top-ups via them Cash network by visiting any Mobitel branch, SLT Teleshops, Singer Mega or any of the mCash retailer outlets around the country. mCash has further extended its services to customers who do not utilize mCash, in order to offer convenience of using the same infrastructure.

Licensed under the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, mCash provides a full range of services that include deposits, withdrawals, money transfers, paying utility bills, insurance premiums and leasing payments, settling payments to government departments, making charitable donations and the purchase of goods and services.

mCash has an extensive retailer network of 12,000 + touch points island wide including Mobitel Branches, SLT Teleshops and Singer Mega outlets, supermarkets, leading banks, 600 + Commercial Bank ATM's for cardless withdrawals and 200 + Pay & Go kiosks located in central areas for mCash services.
