du University hosts its first coaching conference

du University hosted its first ‘Coaching Conference’ aimed at offering international best practices and expert advice in recognition of 100-plus coaches and mentors at du, who have played a fundamental role in the development of their colleagues’ leadership capabilities at various levels. The Coaching Conference was held at du HQ Salam Tower, du auditorium and attended by Ibrahim Nasser, Chief Human Capital and Administration Officer and Steve Page, Senior Vice President Operations.

The conference hosted external speakers, including senior executive coaches, educationists and learning and development gurus. This added tremendous value for all internal coaches who attended the conference. The conference also provided valuable insights into areas such as coaching with impact, building trust, being ethical and impactful, and the neuroscience behind quality conversations. During the ceremony, du’s top ten coaches and mentors were recognized for their contribution to their colleagues.

Speaking about this event, Ibrahim Nassir, Chief Human Resources and Administration, du, said: “Our people are our greatest asset, and as such we aim to ensure they are continuously challenged to improve their leadership capabilities to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow. du University is at the core of our objectives to enhance our employees’ capabilities.
