China Telecom Global and Kazakhtelecom signed an agreement this week to deliver a low latency, high-capacity route via the Europe-Asia Link “Transit Silk Road” from Hong Kong to Frankfurt at 162ms latency. China Telecom Global provides integrated communication services to multinational businesses, telecommunication service providers, and overseas Chinese consumers around the world.
While China Telecom has been a network service provider between Asia and Europe through transit China-Kazakhstan since 2012, this partnership represents its first direct cooperation with Kazakhtelecom. China Telecom said that it would continue working with partners for further cooperation opportunities along the route.
