Sudatel Telecom Group (STG) reveals its strategy for the next five years

STG held its BoD meetings this month in Dubai to discuss its five years strategy and business plan (2016-2020). According to Tariq Hamza Zain Elabdin, CEO of Sudatel, our strategy for the coming 5 years is based on a turnaround and transformation approach which aims towards consistent growth within the group. The strategy's main themes are; Business transformation through adopting industry's best practices and enhancing customer experience besides laying the ground for ICT services and finally developing the company's human capital. Revenues are expected to grow 7% annually attaining 3.2 Billion USD in the coming five years and an EBITDA of 1.2 Billion USD. The growth is driven by the focus on ICT services such as machine to machine (M2M), mobile money, internet of things (IoT) and cloud services. During the transformation phase (beyond 2017) The Company is expected to invest 554 M USD till 2020. Sudan, Senegal and Mauritania will be the main markets of focus. The strategy is based on exploring all the opportunities to maximize growth and increase shareholder's returns.
