Swiss telco Sunrise wants to boost its IPTV platform Sunrise TV.
The number of channels as well as the storage capabilities for time-shifted and recorded TV viewing (dubbed Comeback TV) will be considerably expanded, marketing director Timm Degenhardt told Swiss newspaper SonntagsZeitung.
With the move, Sunrise wants to expand its TV market share which currently amounts to just 2.5%.
Every fifth customers changing its TV provider now opts for Sunrise TV, said Degenhardt. “I can imagine that we will strongly grow through the new product.”
