Recently Qualcomm (QCOM) launched four new Snapdragon processors for mid-range, affordable mobile phones - providing consumers with higher quality at an affordable price. These four new processors, Snapdragon 620, 618, 425 & 415, bring high quality features to phones that are generally more affordable.
The main purpose is to allow the overall customer experience to be enhanced and to provide these phones with features that are otherwise considered high end. The Snapdragon 415 processor is expected to be used in phones within the first half of the year 2015, while the remaining processors are expected to be used in devices hitting the market within the second half of 2015.
