Network device maker Cisco Systems, Inc. had gained the most in the global server market revenue during the second quarter of the current calendar year. There are also three more companies that benefited from the overall 2.5% revenue growth in the worldwide server market in the June quarter.

The network device manufacturer had recorded 35.4% uptick in revenue to $727 million from $537 million in the year-ago quarter. During the same period, Cisco Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:CSCO) had gained 1.4 percentage points in market share to 5.8% from 4.4% in the year earlier quarter, according to a data published by International Data Corporation.
