AT&T said Monday that it has activated a new cell site in Boca Raton, expanding customers’ 4G LTE coverage.
The new site will benefit customers between SW 18th Street and Camino Real and Powerline Road and South Military Trail.
The recently activated cell site is the second one AT&T has activated this year in Boca Raton. It’s also the ninth one activated this year in Palm Beach County, the company said.
The enhanced service gives customers faster mobile Internet speeds that are up to 10 times faster than 3G, improved performance and reliability, AT&T said.
