STC is the sponsor of the Third Technology and Career Day event that will be held at Al Saif Hall in Al Khubar region, as part of its initiative efforts in supporting Saudization’ jobs and training that serve young Saudi over the Kingdom.
His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province will inaugurate the opening of the Career Day Event on Sunday, 20th, 2012 next week. STC will participate a specialized pavilion in which showing its services and offers that aiming young people and university students. STC will also offer some career opportunities vacant for talented graduates in specialties such as: engineering, electrical, communications, computers, marketing, as well as providing some training courses offered to students of telecommunications and information technology. Saudi Telecommunication Company will suggest-Student communication- program- based on statistics devoted for the near graduate students who desire to work for the company to apply through the company's website and then are to be called according to vacant.
STC has participated recently on the 29th Career Day which was organized by King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in the Eastern Province witnessed by Deputy Governor of Eastern Province Prince Jlawi bin Abdul Aziz bin Msaed Al Saud aiming to highlight its role in Saudi youth employment and also participating in various programs of training.
It is worth mentioning that the company had hired and trained a group of technical colleges graduates in disciplines appropriate to the labor market in telecommunications sector, companies, and establishments across the Kingdom, noting that the percentage of Saudization at STC is more than 91%, and has already obtained “Prince Naif Saudization Prize”, and also honored a Prize by the GCC labor ministers for its effective role in this area among the GCC countries.
On the other hand STC has participated technically in sponsoring "SciTech" technical exhibition held in the Eastern Province in its booth in the event aiming at interacting with the visitors and customers, and to highlighting the most outstanding technical competencies that characterized Saudi Telecom Company. Noting that STC has recorded its strategic presence as a sponsor and supporter of a range of activities and programs that branded to "SciTech" in the Kingdom.
