On the 31st, Raonmeta, a company specializing in metaverse platforms based on artificial intelligence (AI), announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with AgoraS, a company specializing in information technology (IT) services and educational content, to collaborate on AI-based IT practical content.
Recently, with the government’s 100 trillion won investment plan for AI and other efforts to revitalize the AI industry, AI has emerged as a core technology across all industrial sectors. Consequently, there has been a surge in demand for AI software developers, and the need for practical content that allows for effective learning and application of related technologies is growing.
In line with this, Raonmeta plans to add AgoraS's AI-based software development practical content to its metaverse-based practical service, "Metademy," providing developers with opportunities to efficiently learn the skills needed in practice from basic to advanced levels. The two companies plan to continue collaborating to nurture IT talent suited for the AI era.
The "Metademy" service is expanding content into various practical fields, including nursing skills, physical therapy, and B2B exclusive content, along with the public release of the world’s first practical content for laboratory animal necropsy. It is also equipped with multilingual functions, laying the groundwork for entry into the global practical market. With this collaboration, Raonmeta aims to continuously strengthen its lineup of IT practical content and provide opportunities for trainees in various fields to practice and learn the latest technologies.
AgoraS is a corporation that develops and provides IT services and educational content, supplying products and services to major domestic conglomerates. It holds key products such as the edu-tech brand "Geek House," the IT-specialized educational platform "Code Friends," the AI-based learning management system (LMS) solution "Tutor Flow," the English interview practice service "Geek English," and the Korean language proficiency test (TOPIK) learning service "Jam Topic."
Yoon Won-seok, head of the Metademy business division at Raonmeta, noted, "Through this collaboration, IT talent aiming to develop AI software can practice efficient and practical learning content in the Metademy service." He continued, "In the future, we will expand practical content focused on real-world application in various IT fields, providing opportunities for IT talent to build capabilities that can be immediately applied in the field, contributing to the development of talent in the AI sector."
