Vero Fiber expands FTTH network with Southwest Fiber infrastructure acquisition

Clearnetworx, a fast-growing fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) subsidiary of Vero Fiber, has officially acquired Ting's fiber infrastructure across key portions of Montezuma and La Plata County, CO, and San Juan County, NM.

The acquisition bolsters Clearnetworx's footprint in the Four Corners region and reinforces the company's position as a dominant fiber player across Western Colorado and the Southwest more broadly.

With this move, Clearnetworx assumes control of key strategic network assets. The acquired infrastructure enhances deployment efficiency, reduces build redundancy, and enables Clearnetworx to expand its market reach while maintaining a focus on delivering excellent service to underserved and rural communities across the state.

Clearnetworx now serves more than 12,000 active fiber customers throughout Western Colorado and Northern New Mexico, with a growing presence in communities like Durango, Bayfield, and Cortez, CO, and Farmington, NM. The acquisition complements these efforts in addition to state and federally funded network expansions in Pagosa Lakes and along Highways 160 and 184 in Colorado.

Doug Seacat, President of Clearnetworx

This acquisition significantly decreases our deployment timeline in the region. It allows us to streamline construction, minimize disruption for the community, and reach more customers faster. Our goal has always been to bring big-city fiber to small towns, with the resources of a well-funded company and the mindset of a local neighbor

Casey Irving, VP of Business Development

With this move, we're the leading fiber internet company making substantial infrastructure investments in this region. We're not just expanding – we're investing long term. This is a key market for us, and we're here to build, grow, and serve our community
