Canal+ Poland has launched a new pilot that opens up its streaming service to viewers to watch selected content free of charge.
Under the scheme series, documentaries and channels can be viewed without the need to register or pay fees. Later selected sports events will also be added.
The content can be viewed through a special Free tab.
“We want to give viewers free access to our content. This is a way to get to know Canal+ without having to buy a subscription. We are aware that today people want to first see what a given platform offers, and we respond to these expectations,” says Bartłomiej Leszczyński, Director of Development and Strategy at OTT at Canal+ Poland.
Popular channels Polsat, TV4 and TV Puls are among the live TV channels available. Currently this is only possible through a web browser, but this will later be extended to Smart TVs and other platforms.
On demand Content includes Sędziowie (Judges) and Piłkarze Na Podsłuchu (Listening in to Footballers) as well as Canal+ Originals Belfer, Krók, Król (King) and Emigracja XD (Emigration XD).
The list of free content will be updated regularly.
