Telkom Indonesia announced on Monday it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Zoom Communications to cooperate on selling AI-based solutions for Indonesia’s B2B Market.
Under the MoU, the two companies aim to develop a work platform that leverages Zoom’s AI capabilities to offer AI-powered communication and collaboration solutions.
“By combining our advantages in collaborating with various industries, along with Telkom's digital capabilities and strong presence in the local industry, we want to present a platform that prioritizes AI in order to help various companies in Indonesia to increase productivity, provide a better experience for customers, and support business success,” said Ka Yee Chan, head of Zoom Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Vietnam in a statement.
Telkom’s digital solutions subsidiary Metranet will support the project especially in integrating Zoom services and expanding its reach to Telkom's main target segments.
Telkom business development group director Honesti Basyir said the collaboration with Zoom will strengthen its digital capabilities in the Indonesian market, especially in the B2B and enterprise solutions segment.
“We are optimistic that in the long run, this collaboration will provide significant added value, not only for Telkom and Zoom, but also for the wider Indonesian digital ecosystem,” he said.
