Somalia’s National Communications Authority Signs MOUs with Malaysian
Communications and CyberSecurity Malaysia
The National Communications Authority
(NCA) of Somalia has signed two separate
Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with
the Malaysian Communications and
Multimedia Commission (MCMC) and
CyberSecurity Malaysia, aiming to enhance
collaboration in digital regulation, technical
cooperation, and cybersecurity. The first
MOU, signed with MCMC, focuses on
cooperation in areas such as 5G technical
frameworks, policy exchange, and
experience sharing to improve institutional
capacity. This agreement lays the
foundation for broader engagement on
