Dr. Khalid AL Bayari, AL Bayari, acting STC CEO met this week with the CEO and Chairman of CISCO – Siemens Mr. John Chambers. The meeting focused on aspects of cooperation between the two organizations and the ways to enhance the communications and information technology industry in Saudi Arabia. The meeting held at Riyadh Four Seasons Hotel was attended by a group of influential communications and IT leaders from both government and private sectors.
The discussion highlighted opportunities availed by the internet to individuals and businesses in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East and the major changes in the technology sector. These include video, cloud computing structure, travel and security that influences commercial transactions worldwide including those performed in the kingdom.
STC seeks to, through such activities; meet with professionals, experts, technicians and representatives of world manufacturers and providers of services, applications, wireless solutions, mobile data devices and smart phones.
