Digicel has added Flow TV to its Flow portfolio in the islands, which already included phone and Internet services, according to a local newspaper.
The advanced pay-TV service, which includes features as catch-up, rewind and video-on-demand (VOD), and includes 160 linear channels, will be only available for Flow’s Superfast package subscribers.
This package is not available throughout the entire country, as it is delivered through Digicel’s fibre network, which is still being deployed.
“Everything you record is stored on the cloud. Because it’s stored on the cloud, it means that, say for example there is a problem with the flat box after a power outage or a lightning storm, all of your content is still there and available. You can watch it with your mobile phone; you can watch it with your laptop; your iPad,” said Colin McDonald, country manager, Flow.
