KALIMAT TELECOM JOINS SAMENA
DUBAI, UAE - November 22, 2007 — SAMENA Telecommunications Council has brought on board yet another valued member: Kalimat Telecom.
This is the first time Iraq is witnessing a full-scale deployment of fixed wireless technology across the country, not just in urban clusters but in remote areas as well. Kalimat Telecom will be the first to serve not only the Iraqi household but also its up and coming small/medium enterprise market.
With a robust workforce of 4000 employees out of which 3,000 services professionals across 44 countries in Middle East and Africa region. Nokia Siemens Networks is driven by the desire to connect the world and forsee 5 billion people to be connected by 2015. Of these people, around 1 billion will come from the Middle East and Africa region.
