An over-the-top (OTT) linear feed will be launched in the fourth quarter of 2015 by pan-Asian pay-TV channel provider Celestial Tiger Entertainment (CTE) for its action entertainment channel KIX.
The high definition OTT linear channel, KIX 360, will launch in Singapore and be gradually rolled out across the region in the first half of 2016. The shows will include a mix of combat sports, action series and action films like the linear service, but the programmes will be selected for mobile-viewing.
"We are very excited to be launching a dedicated OTT channel in HD for our male-targeted action brand KIX," said Todd Miller, chief executive officer, Celestial Tiger Entertainment.
"Fans in Asia will be able to get into action on multiple platforms, at home and on the go with KIX 360. In addition, we are curating the channel to ensure a great viewing experience on screens large and small."
The OTT channel will include Bellator MMA, Glory World Series, and Top Gear with Top Gear Korea, Top Gear USA and Top Gear Australia.
